This type of risk management is called a Factorial. Whilst it feels relatively easy to predict the finishing order of a race, it’s actually not as simple as you may think. In this example, the long odds give us the ability to offer 100,000 entries across the season for a lot less cost than the $100,000 prize pool on offer!
Hints & Tips
When running Factorial promotions, you can’t simply work out the ‘true odds’ for 1-10. The risk must take into consideration future favourites and past history to calculate the cost.
